Services
Before you go into labor, I’d like to meet with you (and your partner if applicable) at least 2 times to get to know you better and to discover what your wishes are for childbirth. I can help you create a Birth Preferences letter to give to your provider and hospital staff. I’m also willing to meet your OB/Midwife if you’d like me to do so.
I will be with you for 100% of your labor from when we both decide it's the right time for me to join you. I can come to your house if you wish to stay at home for part of your labor, or I will meet you at the hospital (or Birth Center). After the birth of your baby I will stay with you to help with initial breastfeeding if so desired, and leave at an appropriate time when your new family is comfortable together.
About one week after delivery I will come see you and your baby at your home. We can discuss and share memories of your labor and delivery. I can help you with any issues you might be having at that time.
I’m always available on my cell phone for my clients to discuss fears or to answer questions.
Services in a Nutshell:
*2 (or more) prenatal visits
-One visit could include myself accompanying you on an appointment to
your OB/Midwife
*Full support through labor and delivery
*Stay with you one to two hours after delivery
*One postpartum visit at your home
*On call service for questions or concerns
Additional Services for an extra Fee:
I have expertise with Cloth Diapering. If you'd like, we can include into one of our prenatal visits an informational and training session on Cloth Diapering. I have multiple kinds of CD's that you and your partner can actually feel, play around with, ask questions about, try on a doll, and get the handle of before making your purchase. I also explain how they work, how washing and drying works and fill you in on any other details.
Fees
My fee is $700.00 for all the services described above.
A deposit is asked for when my services are agreed upon as a retaining fee.
The remaining balance is to be paid 4-6 weeks prior to due date.
